From the SelectEffect home screen you can choose to take a new photo or pick one from your photo gallery. You can also change the app settings or view the help info via the home screen shortcuts.
See the 12 effects live on your chosen photo before picking your favorite to adjust and apply in the next screen.
After you've decided which effect you want to use with your photo use the slider at the bottom of the screen to adjust the intensity of your chosen effect.

With SelectEffect you aren't limited to just one outcome with your photos. Choose which of the 12 styles you like best or use one of each. In the effect selection screen you'll be able to preview exactly what each effect will look like when applied to your photo. You also have 8 options for border styles ranging from classy thin borders to bold wide ones or even an old-school Polaroid-like look.
Freedom to adjust the effect intensity:
With SelectEffect once you've chosen the look you want to give your photo you even have the ability to fine tune it with the intensity level slider.
Take a new photo or choose one from your Photo Library:
Use SelectEffect to enhance a freshly taken photo or bring new life to your stored images. You can also share pictures to Facebook and Twitter from within the app.

About the SelectEffect App
SelectEffect was specifically designed to offer professional iPhone photo effects in a more user-friendly way. As a photographer I've always wanted an app that with a few taps of the finger, would deliver professional effects.
So, I decided to design one--the app that has high-quality effects with just a few taps, but also allows you to adjust the effect enough to best fit your photo.
Best of all, this app is built around what YOU ask for. I want to give you the effects you want! Send me a sample photo of the effect you'd like to see and I'll add it in.
I need your help with the next effects to add. Is there an effect you have seen on photos that you want to apply to YOUR photos?
Here's how it works. You find a photo that you love, the photo that makes you say “Ah, I want my picture to look like THAT!” Then you send me an email with that photo as an attachment. I will take the most asked-for effects, recreate them, and add them to SelectEffect.
